pile o' stuff

we have been piling up all the baby items in one corner and it has slowly taken over our apt.  as you can see in the picture below, it's a little difficult to get in/out of the door! we finally put them away over the weekend.  took some creativity to find places for them in our small 1-bedroom apt!  i have the new york baby shower coming up on sunday so in the event we get more gifts, we're going to need somewhere to put those too.  for now, all the baby items that need to be washed are in mik's large suitcase - it is FULL of clothes, washcloths, towels, blankets, bibs, etc.  most of the clothes are hand-me-downs; some are new esp. the RL gear.  ;)  we need to buy a dresser before we can wash and put them away.  we'll probably go to babies r us this week and use the GCs we received from the west coast showers.  we'll probably purchase the crib this weekend too.  nesting has definitely started!

while going through all the baby stuff that needs to be washed, i came across this CAL onesie that we bought while we were in berkeley over the holidays.  i bought a matching hoodie for myself.  i can't wait to wear this with our baby.  GO BEARS!  i will definitely instill in him that he must go to a good academic school.
