too truthful maternity tees

a coworker cut this out from a newspaper and left it on my desk with a note saying "thinking of you!  check it out.  too funny!"

 

i'm working from home again today.  my cold/congestion is back and had really bad pelvic pain yesterday.  my manager just called to give me good news... he cleared my requested 14-week maternity leave with our SVP!  they'll try not to bother me during my leave  and respect this special time with my new baby.  i definitely have to do performance reviews/goals for my team though, and knowing my work ethic, i will probably check emails from time to time (so i don't come back to thousands of unread emails).  i'll also be working from home 2 weeks before my due date and if i'm not feeling well now, he said that i should think about working from home 1-2 times a week.  so glad he's understanding about this whole thing.  he doesn't have any kids so i was a little worried.  glad it all worked out!
