birth announcement & newborn pics

for maki's newborn pictures, cornell hospital has this photography service called gaga baby photos.  basically a photographer comes into the hospital room to take pictures of the newborn.  we waited until we were about ready to check out of the hospital to take ours so maki could be in his going home outfit.  i couldn't be any happier that we did it.  we captured maki's facial expressions when he was only 3 days old!  i was thinking that i could research other photographers when we got home - little did i know the craziness that hit us in the first couple of weeks.  there was no time for anything!  everything was a blur...  so i'm glad we were able to have this photo shoot.  just wish i had time to get ready - just got out of the shower and my hair was still wet when we took these photos!  also my hand looks bigger than mik's - i was still sooo swollen everywhere!  i get sad looking at these.  he was so tiny then and he has grown so much.  my baby is growing up too fast.  WAAAAAAH!
