XY chromosomes confirmed

vanessa, our genetic counselor (and one of my baby girl names), called this morning. good thing i was at my desk at work. not a call i would want to miss! her news? negative on down syndrome, trisomy 13 and 18. yay! full results of the test will be available in ~10 days. she also said... IT'S A BOY!!! 100% confirmed by chromosome testing. double YAY! we knew it was a boy though. there was no denying what we saw during the ultrasound on friday. ;) i also had a dream that i gave birth to a boy - see entry "weird dream" on 8/20. also when i think back to when we conceived, we had sexos the day before (sorry TMI). male sperms are faster swimmers, so there you go! we have another appt with dr. dobrenis on thurs. hope we get hi-5s again. :)
