going berserk

worked from home yesterday. been feeling a little under the weather and having aches. while on the couch, i felt strong, rapid movements from our dragon baby. he's going berserk! can't even imagine what he's doing in there to cause that much raucous... maybe he's doing somersaults while punching his arms and doing karate kicks? it's so ticklish. i started laughing... then i started to cry! my baby is in my belly and i can't wait to meet him. i can sit here for an hour and just watch him move... maybe i'm losing it a little?!

i found out two more of my friends are pregnant - one in CA and another in UK. when will my new york friends get on this bandwagon?  i wish i had friends here who can relate to me... i need someone to talk to about all these changes in my body... picture a no. 2 pencil.  remember what the eraser on those look like? take about 8 erasers, roll them all up and that's the size of my nipple right now.  humongous... and so dark! my areolas are gigantic too... and so dark!  they also have small bumps in them (weird, i know!). the veins under the skin near the boobies are very visible. guess my body is getting ready to nurse dragon jr. anyway, i'll just keep blogging about these random thoughts... YOU - you know who you are! hurry up and get knocked up already. ;)

i made an appt with dr. cory kercher for jan 20th.  she's a pediatrician with cornell and came highly recommended by a friend (who is also a pediatrician).  she's fairly young but has twins.  i don't know which questions to ask her yet...  figure we'll just meet her and see how it goes.  she takes my insurance and works 4 days a week, so hopefully we like her!
