boo hoo. no ultrasound today.

saw dr. dobrenis today.  we got hi-5s for being almost 29 weeks!  but even though she told us last time she would give us an ultrasound on our next visit, she was too busy today for an ultrasound.  :(  we haven't seen the baby in 8-9 weeks.  WAAAAH!!!  she said she will do it for our next visit.  we see her again in 3 weeks, then 2 weeks after that, then 2 weeks again after that, then every week from then until delivery.  eeeeeeek.  she said i'll most likely be early due to my ethnicity.  my mom was early with me (2 weeks).  my younger sis was early with all her 3 kids (1-4 weeks).  my older sis was early with her 2 kids (1-2 weeks).  i have a feeling i'll be early too.  but hopefully not more than 1 week.  i would like dragon to develop in my belly as much as possible.

got back to new york late last night.  flight back wasn't bad.  i did the same routine as the flight there.  dragon was moving around a lot though.  i wonder if the baby can feel anything when i'm on the plane.  will be on a plane to toronto next week for work and again back to CA for the baby showers... then no more traveling after that!  we had an awesome 12 days in CA with family and friends but so glad to be home sweet home!  getting tired of living out of a suitcase and missed our bed... although not so sweet to be in 15 degree weather plus wind chill and back at work after all that time off.  today and tomorrow i have all-day meetings!  UGH.  even though there's only a 3-hr difference, the jetlag still hurts.  i was exhausted all day today.  hopefully tomorrow will be better.  dragon kept moving in my belly during the meeting.  he must be jetlagged too.  ;)

bra is my frienemy.  can't stand wearing one but need to.  it's so uncomfortable.  like it's choking me to death.  i bought bigger ones again.  always wanted bigger boobs but for the love - i feel like big boobs bertha!  bought new 38c wireless bras... they're soooooo huge.  mik said they look like bullet proof vests.
