20/20ish

in 2003, i got laser eye surgery for my nearsightedness.  i did PRK instead of LASIK.  it was the best thing i've ever done.  i hated contacts! my eyes often got irritated.  after i got the surgery, it was life-altering.  i love waking up and seeing everything... not worrying about contacts while scuba diving... love how i could see perfectly... well, until now.  i often find myself squinting to read and see things... my nearsightedness came back!  uh oh.  is it time for a check-up?!!!  but after a quick google, of course pregnancy has caused this (due to changes in hormones, blood circulation, etc)!  luckily, like most pregnancy issues, this too is temporary and my perfect vision should come back within several months of delivery.  whoop tee doo.
