happy father's day to mik! maki gave papa his present this morning. papa loved it. it was hard to get maki's handprint on the frame since he still likes to close his fists. footprint was so much easier! nanny helped me do it - not sure i could have done it on my own. today we went to church, had brunch at jane, family nap on the bed, picnic in central park with friends and some people came over and we had filipino dinner. great day if i may say so myself! happy father's day again to maki's wonderful papa. mik, you are an amazing father and we love you so much!
i go back to work tomorrow. i'm glad that i found julie 4 weeks ago and was able to spend a lot of time with her. but i'm really not glad about leaving maki for 8-9 hours everyday. i'm going to miss my baby so much... i'm also a little scared of going back into the office. i have to ditch my pajamas, ponytail and no makeup - my staple for the last 14 weeks. but staying home is not an option for us unfortunately... i uploaded my maki pics to my digital frame and will be staring at it all day. maybe i'll ask julie to swing by my work with maki so i can get my fix!
