5 months

my baby love turned 5 months last saturday!  he surprised us with a couple of things... he sits up straight for several seconds before falling forward or sideways.  he also puts his butt in the air when trying to crawl. it's sooo cute to see his big butt up in the air.  during his afternoon nap, mik had to turn him over in his crib 5 times!!!  he's definitely getting more active.  it's exciting!

i'm really loving this age...  actually since he turned 3 months.  it's so much fun spending time with my baby love.  i definitely LOVE motherhood.  i've accomplished a lot in my life but this one definitely completes me as a woman.  i love it so much i wonder why i waited this long to have a baby.  but if i had a baby when i was in my 20s, would i have loved it this much then (i wouldn't have been ready - was too selfish)?  my favorite thing is getting him out of the crib in the morning and seeing him smile.  it's the best feeling.  i also love coming home after work... puts things into perspective.  family is definitely more important than work and when i come home to my baby, i just want to play with him and give him lots of hugs and kisses!
