charming, happy baby
maki is turning into a little person! he's so cute - love that he likes to smile. i'm definitely glad he's a happy baby! didn't want him to get the "angry-lar" brow. ;) wait, i think he has it but he smiles a lot! the owner of the korean restaurant we ate at today for lunch was so mesmerized by him. she held him for a while and kept watching him. he was charming her with his smile and was "talking" to her. no stranger danger (yet)!
he has this new thing now... he loves to scream! it's like a girly squeal. haha. he does it when he's really hungry or really tired. watch the video below... not so charming when he does that! ;)
he also likes holding on to a blanket now so we finally started to use monkey lovie. i've been sleeping with it at night so it has my scent and mik tries to steal it from me and puts it inside his shirt! hopefully when we stop swaddling him (whenever that is - soon i hope!), we can use monkey lovie as his soothing item along with monkey binky. his fave swaddle blanket is now getting small on him (only up to 14 lbs and he's almost 17) and the next size up is big on him. i don't know how we're going to wean him off the swaddle! will ask the doctor on wednesday during his 4-month check up. he's going to get a few shots again. so sad... i wish i could stay home with him but he'll prob sleep most of the day again. i have so many questions to ask the doctor on wednesday. this weekend he started to have blood in his poop again. i know i'm taking all precautions not to eat dairy/soy and i don't see a fissure in his butt. this whole thing is madness. i want a slice of pizza, cookie, ice cream and cake so badly! still trying to make it to 6 months...
today maki rolled over from belly to back 2x. he hasn't rolled over in a while so we're glad he remembers how to do it! we tried getting him to roll over the other direction but no luck. we can see he's trying though... hope we're around when he does it for the first time!!!
