maki's first flight!

on our way to JFK airport. it's maki's first plane ride. eeeek! not sure how he'll be... with naps and all. after packing for 3 straight days, i think i'm done. how can such a small baby need so much stuff?!!!! i consider myself very good at traveling light. i hate checking in my bag. then comes this tiny being and i'm back to overpacking! hopefully after this trip, i can cut his packing list down.

for those of you who didn't know, we're flying to LA for maki's baptism. family from SF and SD are driving to watch maki get holy. we're very excited and can't wait for maki to meet all his relatives and our close friends!

i'm a little scared about how this trip will affect his sleeping. he's such a great sleeper now. sleeps 7:30pm - 7:30am and naps the same time 3 times during the day. i don't want to mess that up. :( but to spend time with family will be all worth it i'm sure.

here's maki's baptism gift from nanny. fancy shmancy! didn't know burberry made kids clothes... nanny's bday is coming up and we're going to have to up the ante. a-ya!
