baby love is 8 months

8 months today!  baby love, can't believe how great these past months have been to have you in our life.  so much joy you bring!   no matter how big you get, you'll always be our baby...   happy 8 months chubby cheeks!!!  xoxo

today we went to the park on 67th and 1st.  lots of kids there today because it was such a nice day.  60 degrees and sunny.  we had to wait several minutes for a swing.  maki loves the swing!  he kept smiling and taking his hands off the bars - what a daredevil.  he must get that from his mama.  ;)

maki's room is pretty much done.  mik put up the shelves on the wall and mounted the video monitor.  we just need to buy a small area rug and another dresser for his closet.  his bedroom is so big....  for such a small human being!  haha

everywhere we go, maki gets compliments.  on our way back from whole foods, while crossing the street, this woman was like "he's so adorable.  those cheeks!"  then in church, while i was shaking this woman's hand, she said "peace be with you.  you have such a beautiful baby boy".  awwww mama's proud but i'll be more proud if he grows up beautiful on the inside too.  i'll make sure of that!
